WALNUT MOVEMENT

Consists of sculptures, interactivity and sound. I am interested in combining materiality and craftsmanship with interactive technology such as film and sound, a project that talks about the past, present and future. The installation invites a meditation on the environment, technology and man, a connection between animals, insects, man and nature. The installation consists of hollow walnut slabs, ceramics, organic matter and technology. The sculptures are set in ceramic boots with organic shapes, details of roots, worms, facial features, holes, etc. The photographs printed on the textiles show details from forest landscapes such as a bare tree, moss, river water etc. The installation creates a fictional landscape in dialogue with materiality, nature and technology.
